Kim has worked in the claims industry for 14 years and has been a member of the Raleigh Claims Association for many of those years. She is currently employed by North Carolina Farm Bureau as a Claims Supervisor for the Central Region. Prior to this she served as the Bodily Injury Specialist for the NC Farm Bureau Out of State District Claims Office. Her extensive medical knowledge gives her a valuable insight into injury claims. In both positions she is reported to be “always willing to take the time to review and offer assistance on various claims issues and there is never a question that she fails to give her full attention to, nor does she ever make any issue seem insignificant”
Kim shows a great attention to detail when evaluating claims and exhibits a strong knowledge of both the mechanics of the claims process and negotiating settlements fairly and efficiently.
Additionally, she has taken a lead role in helping her company with the arduous task of adhering to new mandatory reporting requirements as set out by Section 111 of the Medicare Act. She has assisted on all levels of the implementation by participating in planning sessions and by holding forum discussions to address this challenging regulatory requirement.
Kim is married to Andre and she is the mother of two children, A.J. and Sydney. She also bowls competitively as a member of the Farm Bureau Bowling team.
